How Does a Facial Work?
Following a consultation to select your unique treatment based on your skin type and concerns, you will relax in a treatment room as your facial is performed. Your facial process will be customized; however, most treatments will begin with a deep cleaning to remove dirt, makeup, and oil. After cleaning the skin, steam is used to open the pores so whiteheads and blackheads can be extracted. This is usually followed by exfoliation, either done by hand or with an added treatment (microdermabrasion or chemical peel). A mask or serum will be massaged in to deeply nourish. Lastly, an SPF moisturizer selected for your skin type will be smoothed on to protect the skin from UV damage after the facial.
